The market is changing to the fourth SUNDAY of each month from January 2010 except for November and December when, due to Christmas and a previous booking, the dates are as below.
This month we have more new stalls! Come along and enjoy a great range of stalls selling some of the best, local produce in the region. Stalls include fresh Suffolk game, free range eggs, fresh bread from Lavenham’s famous Sparling & Faeirs bakery and homemade cakes. Plus this month we have new stalls selling local mushrooms & dairy products from Punchard’s Farm in Rattlesden.
This month we are really excited about the arrival of our brand new Farmers’ Market Cafe. Diana Patrick of Manor Farm will now be running the cafe offering a fantastic menu including a delicious Farmers’ Breakfast, sausage sandwiches, omelettes & pancakes, homemade cakes & fresh coffee. All the ingredients will be fresh & local – the cafe really does promise to be a star attraction at the market each month.
Since the Farmers’ Market was relaunched in September 2008, it has gone from strength to strength and every month we now see upwards of 500 people coming through the Village Hall doors - visitors and local’s alike coming to shop and have a coffee at the Farmers’ Market Cafe.
We hope you can join us on Saturday November 28th at Lavenham Village Hall between 10am and 1pm.
THIS IS THE LAST SATURDAY MARKET. THE DECEMBER MARKET WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY 20th AND FROM JANUARY 2010 THE FARMERS’ MARKET WILL BE HELD ON THE FOURTH SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH.
Free parking & full disabled access.
